The resisting 10%

Making games is fun, finishing games is no fun!
The last 20-10% development of your game can be backbreaking. It’s like growing up, as if the game is happy being a child and doesn’t want to become this static full grown adult.
Actually it’s probably more me who doesn’t want to except that the journey is finished because being on the road is more fun then arriving at your destination.

Anyway I took some hard decisions on “these things” we like to keep open for change, because we know there is a certain potential and we’re afraid we’ll not use, but we can’t put our finger on what it is or what it has to become.

This is why i feel making the remaining 10% of development so hard.
It’s cutting loose from all that your game could have been… This and bugs popping up of course 🙂
